Charity/Project Information
Funding will be used to construct a playground shed in honour of Marc Robichaud (owner of UJ Robichaud TIMBER MART, Church Point, NS who passed away from cancer at the age of 36 in January of 2012). The storage shed will improve the outdoor recreational facility at a local daycare centre so that seasonal items and outdoor equipment can be stored when not in use. This will provide increased safety and play area for the children as well as extend the life of the equipment when properly stored. The daycare is a licensed facility for 62 children and the playground is also open to the public.
