The Bowen Island Youth Centre provides youth an outlet to express themselves, build confidence, helps with career options and helps coordinators connect with youth who may be at risk or in need of help. These funds are specifically targeting programs – the Artist Series (youth receive instruction from professional artists), Confidence Program (series for girls including body image, health, self-confidence), Career Exploration (targets career planning for youth) and Virtual Youth Centre (provides access to the web at no cost for those that do not have access at home).
